Website Maintenance

1. Scope of Work (The "Weekly Pulse")

The Service Provider will perform a Weekly Maintenance Check every Friday to ensure the website remains secure, functional, and optimized. The scope includes:

Platform & Plugin Updates: Updating core CMS software (e.g., Webflow, WordPress) and all integrations to the latest stable versions.

Security & Health: Weekly scans for vulnerabilities and verification of SSL certificate status.

Redundant Backups: Verification that a successful off-site backup has been generated.

Performance Monitoring: Checking page load speeds and clearing site cache to maintain optimal performance.

Weekly Status Report: A brief email summary sent to the Client upon completion of the weekly check, confirming the site’s status and any actions taken.

2. Monthly Content Allowance

This agreement includes three (3) hours per month of minor content updates. This is intended for:

Swapping existing text or images.

Updating links or contact information.

Posting provided blog content or announcements. > Note: Unused hours do not roll over to the following month.

3. Out-of-Scope (Project-Based Work)

Changes that alter the site’s structure or require significant design time are billed as separate projects. These include:

Structural Layout Changes: Modifying the design architecture or creating new page templates.

New Functionality: Adding new features (e.g., e-commerce, custom forms, or new third-party integrations).

Major Troubleshooting: Fixing issues caused by the Client’s own modifications to the site code or settings.

4. Technical Assets & Ownership

Hosting & Domain: These are the sole financial and administrative responsibility of the Client. The Client must maintain active accounts to avoid service interruption.

Access Levels: The Client will provide the Service Provider with "Editor" or "Administrator" access. The Service Provider will not be responsible for managing the Client's billing or payment methods for third-party hosting/domain providers.

5. Compensation & Terms

Monthly Fee: $150.00 USD

Billing Cycle: Invoiced every month.

Payment Method: Payments via Wise or Paypal

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 7 days' written notice.
